If new uniforms are here, start wearing them and start washing them to soften the fibres. Cut off pesky tags and work out if you need laces replaced to help fine motor issues. Some schools are great for allowing shoes with velcro and zips if lacing shoelaces are tricky – this is super common for autistic childre, and there are mainstream shoes available for this purpose.
