Autistic diets are often fairly beige. They’re consistent and reliable. Food comes in the same shape and taste over and over. Our pantry shelves are lined with cans and packets of our safe foods. Specific brands. Same foods to feed us until we no longer want anything to do with these things.

It’s the start of the festive season! ๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ… Ahead of all the celebrations, it’s important to make sure everyone’s needs are catered for by having a few back up meals that are consistent and meet sensory needs.
